I've found through much trial and error that it's difficult (if not impossible!) for most adults to keep a child-sized hoop rotating. There are many, many different sized and weighted hoops out there. Trying to choose the right size and weight can be really overwhelming. I have designed 3 hoop sizes that I feel will best meet the needs of my fellow hoopers and hopefully make choosing a hoop less of a challenge. My goal is to make your whole hooping experience a pleasant one; from choosing your hoop to enjoying your new healthy, hooping lifestyle.
Adult large (approximately 45 in. diameter): This size works well if you are over 5' 10" or have a generously portioned body and have little to no experience hooping.
Adult medium (approximately 42 in. diameter): This size works well for average sized adults and teens. It also works with larger body sizes if you have some previous hooping experience (maybe you hooped as a child - you'd be amazed at what your body can remember!). It can be used for tricks and off body movements in addition to a cardio workout.
Youth small (approximately 38 in. diameter): This smaller and slightly lighter hoop works well for pre-teens or for more experienced adult hoopers who don't have trouble keeping a smaller hoop rotating.
